Leg Extension

How it is done:

  1. Sit on machine with ankles behind pad. Make sure knees are aligned with machine's axix of rotation.
  2. Straighten legs in a smooth manner until knees are almost locked.
  3. Lower to starting position, stopping just before the bottom. Repeat.

Quadriceps

Breathing:

Exhale as you extend legs upward. Inhale as you lower legs to starting position.

Trainer's Tips:

  • Alternatively try this exercise using one leg at a time.
  • Perform this exercise slowly so that your quadricep muscles are fully stressed.

Common Mistakes:

  • Locking legs when fully extended.
  • Flexing or extending feet.
