Incline Biceps Curl On The Total Gym 1500

So, you'd like to build your biceps. Nothing Herculean looking or even anything close to Xena: the Warrior Princess. Just strong, sculpted arms that scream, "I'm in great shape!" Arms that make you feel confident, powerful and sexy.

Since biceps aren't just for boys any longer, try the incline biceps curl using the Total Gym. The Total Gym uses cables and your body weight to strengthen and tone the muscles on the front of the upper arm (biceps).

Setup:
Following instructions in the owner's manual, set the glideboard at a low incline. Sit up tall with your hips in the middle of the glideboard, knees bent, and feet placed at the lower end. Grasp the cable handles and begin with your arms at your sides and slightly behind you, palms facing forward.

How To Do It:
Pulling your shoulder blades down and slightly together, exhale and bend your elbows. The glideboard will slide up. Curl until your fists are slightly in front of your shoulders. Inhale, slowly straighten your elbows and return to the starting position.

Tips:
Keep your upper arms stationary and behind your body throughout the curl. Focus on isolating your bicep muscles only by not allowing your elbows to move forward or back.
